Fernando Tatis Jr. Is Absent From The Lineup On Tuesday
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. is absent from the team's lineup on Tuesday vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. This is most likely a routine day off for the superstar shortstop, who was activated from the 10-day injured list last Friday with a shoulder injury. Jake Cronenworth is starting at shortstop and batting third in his place against Brewers starter Corbin Burnes. The Padres will keep a close eye on Tatis Jr. throughout the season as he gave everyone quite a scare after suffering a left shoulder subluxation during a swing back on April 5. He's off to a slow start this season with a .118/.231/.294 batting line to go along with two home runs and three RBI over 34 at-bats.
