6 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. is hitting leadoff Thursday against the Cincinnati Reds. Tatis has slotted mostly sixth this season but he’ll have a chance to play table-setter against Reds right-handed starter Tanner Roark. The 20-year-old star rookie is riding a six-game hitting streak and slashing a healthy .281/.347/.578 with five homers and 21 runs-plus-RBI through 18 games.
