4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Game 2 of the wild-card series against the St. Louis Cardinals. After failing to convert a handful of scoring opportunities in Game 1, Tatis capitalized on Thursday by crushing a three-run jack in the sixth frame to spark a furious Friar comeback. He launched a two-run job an inning later for additional security. After struggling to close the year, the 21-year-old star now has four long balls in five contests going back to the final regular season series. The Padres will need his heroics again in Game 3.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
