Fernando Tatis Jr. Reaches Base Four Times
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. reached base four times Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, scoring two runs. After exiting Saturday due to precautionary reasons related to his ailing left shoulder, Tatis singled, doubled and walked twice while swiping his 14th base. Apparently fine, the 22-year-old continues his extraordinary season, slashing .291/.373/.380 with 22 homers and 104 runs-plus-RBI in 236 plate appearances to accompany the stolen bags. Aside from the intermittent rest day, El Niño should remain a fantasy stalwart on a daily basis.
