Fernando Tatis Jr. Refuses To Stop Hitting Home Runs
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop/outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. has faced plenty of adversity this season, but he continues to knock the cover off the ball regardless. Tatis Jr. went 1-for-4 with his 34th home run of the year Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies, a solo shot off starting pitcher German Marquez. Tatis Jr. batted second and played right field in this contest, and he seems poised to gain outfield eligibility later this week. With a 1.523 OPS and four homers over his last seven games, the only thing that can slow Tatis Jr. down is injury.
