3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (illness) completed a full workout Wednesday and should return to game action Thursday or Friday. The 22-year-old star had battled a non-COVID bug earlier this week but appears close to full strength. After posting a 150 wRC+ across his first 629 big league plate appearances with 39 homers and 27 steals, Tatis was rewarded with a $340 million contract extension during the offseason.
