Fernando Tatis Jr. Smashes Two Homers
5 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. popped a pair of homers in Sunday’s victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tatis went yard to lead off the game and followed up with a three-run blast in the fifth inning. The 20-year-old superstar now has 14 homers, 13 steals and 79 runs-plus-RBI while slashing a marvelous .327/.393/.620 heading into the All-Star break. Had he not missed a month with a bum hammy, he’d surely be in Cleveland next week. While advanced stats continue to suggest an imminent downturn, fantasy owners should be ecstatic with Tatis’ production through the first half of 2019.
