Fernando Tatis Jr. Sparks Victory Rally
4 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. reached base twice and scored two runs in five plate appearances on Opening Day against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 21-year-old sparked a three-run sixth inning with a double then walked and scored again an inning later. The electric leadoff man was a consensus top-25 pick this fantasy offseason and showed his knack for creating offense on Friday. He’ll square off against D-Backs southpaw Robbie Ray on Saturday. DFS players should note his career 1.268 OPS against left-handed pitching.
