Fernando Tatis Jr. To Have Another Scan Next Week
2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (wrist) will have his wrist scanned again when the Padres return from their road trip next week. There is optimism that Tatis will be able to resume swinging after that. The 23-year-old superstar is with the Padres on their current road trip and will run and take ground balls with the team. He's been out all season due to a fractured wrist he suffered in the offseason, but there's a chance he could make his 2022 debut for the Friars at some point in June. Tatis needs to be stashed in all fantasy formats after posting a .282/.364/.611 slash line, .975 OPS, a league-high 42 home runs, 97 RBI, 99 runs scored and 25 stolen bases in 130 games for San Diego in 2021.
