Filip Chlapik Scores First NHL Goal
7 years agoOttawa Senators forward Filip Chlapik scored his first NHL goal against the Edmonton Oilers in the 6-2 loss. 20-year-old Chlapik, who was the 48th pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, has worked his way up in the organization to rank himself high amongst the copious amount of prospects that the Senators have at the center position. After scoring a team-leading 30 points in 50 games with the AHL affiliate, Belleville Senators, he has earned a call-up and currently has three points in 12 games. Right now, he is not worth owning in redraft leagues, but may be an enticing option for dynasty formats in the near future.
