3 years agoAt least five NFL teams have discussed Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper's availability in a potential trade or release, according to a source. Teams that are in the receiver market leading up to free agency are at least checking on Cooper's value and contract situation. Cooper is set to count $22 million against Dallas' 2022 salary cap, which is a big reason why they are moving on. The 27-year-old had 68 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 regular season games in 2021, but he has made six Pro Bowls and has topped 1,000 receiving yards in five of his eight NFL seasons, so there's still plenty to like for receiver-needy teams with plenty of cap space.
