3 years agoAfter losing his light-heavyweight title, Jan Blachowicz wanted to make a big statement to earn another shot, and he did just that on Saturday. Blachowicz earned the victory in the night's main event with a third-round TKO. His opponent, Aleksandar Rakic, was unable to continue, falling to the mat after a non-contact movement. In 11:11 of action, Blachowicz tallied 31 significant strikes (53 total strikes) and stuffed three of Rakic's four takedown tries on the night. With the win, it's likely Blachowicz will earn another title shot after Glover Teixeira defends the title this summer.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
