Four Extra-Base Hits In Four Games For Justin Smoak
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak could legitimately be waking up. We’ve seen teases from him previously this season before slumping again, but he’s definitely looked better at the plate now than he has for some time. In a 6-2 win over the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, Smoak finished 1-for-4 with a home run, his 13th of the season. The effort marks the second time in the last four games Smoak has mashed a long ball, and with that, he also has four extra-base hits total in his last four outings (two doubles). He makes for a very intriguing buy-low candidate at the moment.
