6 years agoFor the New York Mets, outfielder Brandon Nimmo has been all the rage these days. The 25-year-old once again got the job done on Monday for the Amazins’, finishing 4-for-6 with two home runs and four RBI against the Colorado Rockies. His first “longball” of the night was of the inside-the-park-variety, but it counts all the same. For the season, Nimmo is slashing .287/.410/.603 with 12 home runs, five triples, nine doubles, 35 runs scored, and seven stolen bases. For now, the superstar in the making is still maintaining an OPS above 1.000 (1.013). If for whatever reason he still sits unowned in your league, he obviously needs to be scooped up.--John Smith
