5 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez was sent back to Triple-A Round Rock Tuesday. Valdez gave up four runs in four innings as the bulk reliever Monday night which was a continuation of his recent struggles. In his last four outings, Valdez has given up 19 earned runs in 11 innings with 11 walks against nine strikeouts. He's failed to pitch more than four innings in any of those outings and his season ERA has ballooned to 5.58. He'll probably be back in Houston at some point, though his role this season seems like it'll be in the bullpen. He can be dropped in all redraft formats.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
