3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Franchy Cordero has been abusing minor league pitching since his demotion to Triple-A Worcester at the end of May. The lefty-slugger is batting .403 with a 1.270 OPS as he tries to earn another chance with the Big League club. Cordero was batting an anemic .179 with Boston before they sent him down. The Red Sox could certainly use another lefty bat on their bench so he may be back up soon, but fantasy managers don't need to add Cordero until he shows he can consistently hit for power at the MLB level.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
