3 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Franchy Cordero was optioned to Triple-A following Sunday's game, according to Julian McWilliams of the Boston Globe. Cordero has struggled this year at the plate, slashing .198/.237/.260 with one home run, one steal, nine RBI and 12 runs scored over 47 games. There wasn't any reason managers should have had him rostered in redraft formats, but if he was rostered you can safely dump him to the waiver wire.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
