4 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Franchy Cordero has been cleared to rejoin the team for workouts Thursday after missing 17 days on the COVID-19 injured list, according to The Boston Globe's Pete Abraham. Cordero has shown potential to be a threat for double-digit home runs and steals, but he has yet to get enough playing time at the major league level to reach that potential. Missing time this spring has put Cordero at a disadvantage, but fantasy managers should keep an eye on how he bounces back, as he could be a solid late-round pick in deep and AL-only formats if he swings the bat well through the end of the month.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
