2 years agoNew York Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez is reportedly being promoted to Triple-A. This is exciting news as Alvarez is currently the top catching prospect in baseball. He has 18 home runs and a .926 OPS in Double-A this season. The promotion to Triple-A puts Alvarez one step away from the big league roster. The 20-year-old could very well join the Mets roster by the end of the season. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on Alvarez as he could join the Mets roster here sooner rather than later.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
