7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli went 2-for-5 with a triple and a three-run home run in a win over the Chicago Cubs on Thursday. The long ball was Cervelli's second in three days and broke open what was previously a close game at 3-1. With two home runs, he's now almost halfway to his total from 2017 (five) and is hitting .250/.348/.500 after a slow start to 2018. Fantasy managers should give Cervelli a look if the power surge continues, but considering his career high is just seven homers, that doesn't seem like a safe bet.--Matt Wilkes
