Francisco Lindor Blasts Fourth Spring Homer
4 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor hit his fourth home run of the spring in Grapefruit League action on Tuesday. Lindor went 3-for-4 with the HR, a double, two runs scored, and two RBI in the Mets' 5-3 win over the Marlins. After a sluggish start to spring training, Lindor is now batting .476 with four HR, 11 RBI, and a 1.617 OPS in his last six spring training games (21 at-bats). Although Lindor had a down year in 2020, expectations are high for him in 2021 hitting in the potent Mets' lineup. His recent tear in spring training is certainly adding to those expectations. Lindor, a five-category threat in fantasy, is justifiably being drafted as one of the top three shortstops taken off of boards in fantasy drafts.
