4 years agoCleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor will be the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason, as he is scheduled to hit free agency at the conclusion of the 2021 season. Cleveland has been aggressive in moving soon-to-be free agents in years past and would likely receive a significant haul in return for Lindor. But despite his up-in-the-air status, Lindor hasn’t ruled out signing long-term with the club as recently as Thursday when asked about remaining in Cleveland. Irrespective of where he ultimately suits up in ‘21, Lindor should be a first-round fantasy draft selection, holding the distinction of being one of the game’s premier power/speed threats, especially at the shortstop position.--Jesse Borek
