Francisco Lindor Returns Friday
2 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (finger) is back at shortstop and is hitting third on Friday against Los Angeles dodgers left-hander Tyler Anderson. Lindor smashed his finger in a hotel door on Thursday and didn't play, but he'll return a day later in Los Angeles. The 28-year-old reportedly has a small fracture in his finger, but he'll be able to play through it after the swelling went down. Lindor has been solid at the plate this year and should be returned to all starting fantasy lineups on Friday, but it'll be interesting to see if his finger injury affects his production. He's slashing .261/.345/.442 with eight home runs, 43 RBI, 37 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 199 at-bats this season.
