Francisco Lindor Scores, Reaches Base Three Times In Return
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (jaw) went 1-for-3 with two walks and a run scored in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Washington Nationals. The star shortstop returned to action Saturday, batting third and starting at shortstop. He was removed from Friday's game in the top of the fifth inning after being hit in the head by a pitch. X-rays on the 28-year-old's jaw came back negative, and he avoided a significant injury. Lindor is slashing .222/.462/.333 with an RBI and two runs scored over 13 plate appearances in 2022. Fantasy managers should continue to start Lindor in all league formats.
