3 years agoAlthough he took several big shots and lost a point in the third round for an eye poke, Francisco Trinaldo pulled out a split-decision win on Saturday (29-27, 29-27, 27-29) against Dwight Grant. In 15 minutes of action, Trinaldo landed 36 significant strikes (61 total strikes) and only landed one of his three takedown tries on the night. The veteran prowess of Trinaldo paid off and aided in his victory. However, it's likely that we won't see Trinaldo as a big scorer moving forward if the man across the cage continues to become a more difficult foe.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
