4 years agoNew York Jets running back Frank Gore has been around the NFL forever, but the 37-year-old continues to find work in the league and to carve out a role on whatever team he's on. In 2020, Gore will be playing for the New York Jets, and ESPN's Cameron Wolfe has suggested that this backfield -- featuring Gore and Le'Veon Bell -- could be trending toward a split situation. In that scenario, the bulldozing Gore would siphon off some of Bell's goal-line work, which might be enough to knock Bell down to the low-end RB2 territory. As for Gore, his touchdown upside doesn't really negate concerns about his decreasing efficiency and yardage, as he's coming off his worst NFL season by yards and yards per carry.
