Frank Gore Headed To Buffalo On One-Year Deal
6 years agoThe Buffalo Bills and free-agent running back Frank Gore (Dolphins) have agreed on a one-year deal worth $2 million, a source said Monday. Gore showed he still has plenty left in the tank, even in his mid-30's, registering 722 rushing yards in 14 games in Miami last season. While he failed to score a rushing touchdown for the first season of his career. Gore averaged 4.6 yards per tote which was his best mark since 2012 when he was a member of the San Francisco 49ers. He isn't a bellcow any longer, but more of a complementary piece to LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory. It's an aging backfield, and not exactly a durable one. Gore should go for maybe 500 yards on the ground, making him a late-round target and handcuff for Shady owners in 2019.
