2 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Frank Schwindel (back) is slowly getting better, according to manager David Ross. The 30-year-old is expected to resume baseball activities soon, which is great news. Schwindel has been sidelined since June 18 due to back tightness. He'll likely require a minor league rehab assignment before rejoining the Cubs roster. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect Schwindel back until mid-July. Alfonso Rivas should continue to start at first base until Schwindel returns.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
