2 years agoThe New York Yankees reinstated right-hander Frankie Montas from the bereavement list on Sunday in time for him to make his team debut against the St. Louis Cardinals. In a corresponding move, the team optioned rookie right-hander Ron Marinaccio to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. It will be a tough first matchup for Montas in pinstripes, but he's been very solid for fantasy managers in 2022, going 4-9 with a 3.18 ERA (3.35 FIP), a 1.14 WHIP and a 109:28 K:BB in 104 2/3 innings over 19 starts for the Oakland Athletics. He'll be even more valuable in fantasy with a strong Yankees lineup backing him. Marinaccio has been excellent in relief for New York in his first 26 2/3 big-league innings, posting a 2.03 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 32 strikeouts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
