3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Frankie Montas allowed three runs in five innings to pick up a victory Friday night at the Rockies. Montas only struck out two, but it was an encouraging start to survive six hits and a walk to escape Coors Field with a win. Montas is now sporting a 6-5 record with a 4.52 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and a 65:18 K:BB in 65 innings pitched. He's not a must-start pitcher in fantasy, but Montas is an attractive option when he has a good matchup.
