Franmil Reyes Could Be Optioned Tuesday

2 years agoThe Athletic's Zack Meisel reported Monday that Cleveland Guardians designated hitter/outfielder Franmil Reyes was cleaning out his locker after Monday's 6-5 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks and could be optioned to Triple-A Columbus. Reyes pinch-hit in the game, going 0-for-1. Franimal has served as a power option for fantasy managers for much of his career, but he has managed a meager .213/.254/.350 slash line with nine home runs and 28 RBI this season. This move may come if outfielder Oscar Gonzalez (intercostal) were to be activated from the injured list.
