3 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Franmil Reyes (oblique) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment next week. The 25-year-old was expected to miss 5-to-7 weeks after he suffered an internal oblique strain in late May. Reyes is trending in the right direction and could return to action by the end of June. He slashed .257/.316/.576 with 11 home runs, 29 RBI, and 21 runs scored across 158 plate appearances before sustaining the injury.
