2 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Franmil Reyes was designated for assignment on Saturday. He's struggled mightily this season, slashing .213/.254/.350 with nine home runs and 28 RBI across 280 plate appearances in 70 games. The Cleveland Guardians optioned the 27-year-old on Tuesday, and he will now be removed from the 40-man roster. Despite his struggles this season, Reyes smashed 30 homers and drove in 85 runs in 2021.
