Franmil Reyes Goes Deep Again
6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Franmil Reyes hit his 13th home run Friday against the Colorado Rockies. After crushing a walk-off in extra innings Thursday, Reyes fourth inning dinger on Friday proved to be the decisive play in the Padres shutout. The 23-year-old rookie is feeling at home at the dish, hitting .438 and cranking four homers in his last six contests. He’s slashing .254/.311/.521 overall, going deep once every 14 plate appearances but also striking out at a 32 percent clip. With his all or nothing tendencies, Reyes is a better DFS option but can certainly help in the power department down the stretch. With a 1.141 OPS against lefty pitching, confidently fire him up against southpaws.
