Franmil Reyes Hits 100th Career Homer
2 years agoCleveland Guardians designated hitter Franmil Reyes reached a major milestone in Friday night's game, hitting the 100th home run of his career. It's his eighth long ball of this season. Reyes went 1-for-4 with the two-run shot. Fantasy managers certainly expected Reyes to reach this point earlier in the year, but it's been an underwhelming campaign overall, with Reyes putting up a .633 OPS in 205 plate appearances. The major culprit has been his 82 strikeouts versus just 12 walks, but with three homers in his last seven games, it's possible the power could start to outweigh the swing-and-miss in his game.
