6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Franmil Reyes blasted a pair of homers in Wednesday’s victory over the Baltimore Orioles. Reyes launched a tape-measure 452-foot solo shot in the third inning and followed up with a two-run job in the fifth to cap a 2-for-5 afternoon. The big day was his fourth multi-homer game, giving him 22 total for the season. While he’s battled strikeout issues and extended dry spells, the 23-year-old slugger is slashing a respectable .247/.297/.547 with 72 runs-plus-RBI. Reyes has yielded playing time to outfield companions Hunter Renfroe and Josh Naylor recently but Statcast enthusiasts know the power is real (.561 expected slugging). He certainly deserves roster consideration in most fantasy formats.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
