6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Franmil Reyes won't be in Tuesday's lineup against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Reyes has just one hit in 15 plate appearances this season. In his place, 24-year-old Franchy Cordero will get the start in right field. Cordero has just eight plate appearances in the season's first week, tallying two hits and one run. The lefty-hitting Cordero has two career hits against Arizona's starter, veteran righty Zack Greinke. At 35, Greinke has had to get more crafty and doesn't strike many hitters out. However, he limited lefties to just nine home runs last year. Cordero hit .253 with five homers against lefties in 2018, so he carries some DFS value in late-slate contests, but doesn't offer a very high ceiling in a pitcher-friendly park.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
