6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Franmil Reyes will get a start in right field Saturday against the Chicago Cubs. Reyes has played sparingly since his recall on July 11 but he'll bat fifth against Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks. The big Friars rookie has crushed six homers in 101 big league plate appearances but possesses a nosebleed-level 41 percent strikeout rate. Reyes has performed significantly better at home this season, hitting .273 with a .956 OPS and smacking five of his six long balls.
