Fred Johnson Signs With Buccaneers
3 years agoFormer Cincinnati Bengals free-agent offensive lineman Fred Johnson is signing an undisclosed one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, according to his agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha. Johnson was released by Cincinnati after he signed his restricted free-agent tender because the Bengals signed right tackle La'el Collins. In his three seasons with the Bengals, Johnson started only eight of 23 games, and the 24-year-old will provide depth for one of the better offensive lines in the league in front of future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady.
