6 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman was 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Monday's 11-6 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. It is only Freeman's second home run in his past 30 games. The 29-year-old looked like a formidable NL-MVP candidate during the first half of the season but has cooled down a bit since the All-Star break. Regardless, he still has a fantastic .304 average to go along with 22 homers, 89 RBI, 91 runs scored, and nine stolen bases on the season. He remains a must-start every time he takes the diamond.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
