6 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman is getting a breather on Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox. Lucas Duda will be getting the start at first and batting fifth against Red Sox starter Hector Velazquez. Freeman should return to the Braves lineup on Thursday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 28-year-old has slowed a bit in recent weeks, but he still has a strong .305 average with 20 homers, 82 RBI, and eight stolen bases on the season.
