Freddie Freeman Has Slow Start With New Team
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman has gotten off to a slow start at the plate with his new team for the 2022 season. The 32-year-old, who signed a six-year, $162 million deal with the Dodgers this off-season, is slashing just .167/.286/.167 through 14 plate appearances in his new uniform. The Dodgers offense as a whole has struggled out of the gate, but the season is still quite young, so fantasy managers have nothing to worry about for one of fantasy baseball's top first basemen. The team will look to get their offense going against the back-end of the Twins rotation in a two-game series starting Tuesday.
