Freddie Freeman Hits Clutch Homer On Thursday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman came alive with the bat during the second half of the season. The 31-year-old is slashing .292/.388/.504 with 105 runs scored, 29 home runs, 74 RBI this season. On Thursday, Freeman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run that tied the game in the eighth inning. The Braves were able to come away with the 7-6 win over the Washington Nationals in 10 innings. This marked Freeman's 30th home run of the season and it'll be interesting to see how the Braves handle his impending free agency.
