Freddie Freeman Hitting Second For NLCS Game 6
3 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman is hitting second for Game 6 of the National League Championship Series on Saturday. The veteran had hit second in the lineup for the entirety of the series against the Los Angeles Dodgers before Atlanta's Game 5 loss when he hit third behind outfielder Eddie Rosario and second baseman Ozzie Albies. Rosario is once again hitting leadoff with Albies batting third after Freeman against Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler. In 401 plate appearances batting second during the regular season, the first baseman hit .300 with a .399 on-base percentage, a 137 wRC+, and 17 home runs.
