3 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman is red-hot at the plate right now, which is good with the playoffs right around the corner. On Wednesday, Freeman went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, and two RBI in the 9-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Braves offense had no issues here and made easy work of the D-Backs pitching staff. After that game, Freeman is slashing .304/.393/.519 with 31 homers, 82 RBI this season. He certainly deserves to be in the discussion for MVP after the year he has put together.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
