5 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Freddy Galvis has been claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Reds after he was placed on outright waivers over the weekend. Galvis is expected to report to the team tomorrow, when a corresponding roster move will be made. The 29-year-old was enjoying his most productive season, batting .267/.299/.444 with 18 home runs through 115 games with the Blue Jays.
