Freddy Peralta Exits Early With Shoulder Fatigue
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (shoulder) left his start early in the third inning on Thursday against the San Francisco Giants with right shoulder fatigue, according to the team. In his two innings before departing, Peralta didn't allow a run or a hit while walking two and striking out three. Given the fact that he already missed 10 weeks of the season with a right shoulder strain, there's a pretty good chance we won't see him again in 2022. Heading into Thursday's outing, the 26-year-old Dominican had gone 4-3 with a 3.56 ERA (3.07 FIP), a 1.02 WHIP, 73 strikeouts and 23 walks in 68 1/3 innings over 14 starts. Check back for more updates on Peralta's timetable, but fantasy managers should make plans for the worst-case scenario.
