3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (9-3) picked up a win in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cubs, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over 5 1/3 innings in a 4-2 victory. He struck out eight. The right-hander tossed 61 of 89 pitches for strikes before exiting two outs shy of his third straight quality start. Peralta continues to dazzle, giving up more than two earned runs just once in his last 15 outings, and he'll take a 2.26 ERA and 162:51 K: BB through 119 1/3 innings into his next start. He continues to rack up strikeouts while limiting baserunners at a remarkable clip. He is a must-start pitcher in all formats.--James Stokke
