3 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers placed starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with right shoulder inflammation. The starter previously exited Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals in the third inning. Peralta has pitched like an elite pitcher this season, both for the Brewers and for fantasy managers. In 121.1 innings the right-hander has pitched to a 2.45 ERA, a 2.97 FIP, 164 strikeouts, and 51 walks. Left-handed pitcher Hoby Milner was recalled to take the starter's spot on the active roster. Milner, however, is a reliever so it'll be worth monitoring to see what the Brewers do with Peralta's rotation spot while the 25-year-old is on the injured list.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
