5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen stopped 26-of-27 shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-1 victory against the Wild. Andersen was named to his first career NHL All-Star game on Monday and showed why he was deserving of the honor with another effective performance to wrap up 2019. The 30-year-old has picked up wins in five of his past six starts, including seven victories in the month of December and an overall record of 20-8-4 with a 2.66 goals against average and .915 save percentage across 32 starts. Andersen should be owned in all fantasy formats as he remains one of the most valuable netminders for his high volume of saves made and league-leading 20 wins on the season, while his value is higher than ever as the surging Maple Leafs improved to a record of 13-4-1 under first year head coach Sheldon Keefe.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
